After 18 years of study, UnB proves that Pequi Oil is very good for the health of cyclists and athletes

The University of Brasilia, UNB, spent 18 years making a huge study of Pequi oil and came to the conclusion that it is very beneficial for strenuous sports such as cycling and marathon;

Pequi

Beginning of study and cancer.

The study of Pequi oil began with the search for a natural substrate that could avoid the side effects of cancer treatment by chemo. In addition to the attack on the cancer cells, it also affects healthy cells.

This is due to the strong release of free radicals due to the strong drugs. These free radicals may end up producing a new cancer as a side effect of the treatment. Peanut oil was tested as a neutralizing agent for free radicals during treatment and proved to be quite effective in this mode of application.

The tests were also conducted on patients with diabetes and lupus who also saw improvements in the inflammatory images of those who had been supplemented with Pequi oil.

Studies with athletes

According to studies in patients individuals University decided to check the effectiveness of Pequi oil in another type of organism that produces many free radicals, by endurance athletes such as runners or cyclists.

Exhausting sports such as cycling and running generate a large amount of free radicals and inflammatory processes throughout the body.

In order to analyze the result of Pequiöl among the athletes, 130 marathon runners were tested with the help of the Sabin laboratory, here in Brasilia. The blood of the athletes was collected immediately after a marathon and the results compared

Athletes who consumed Pequi oil for 30 days had a very significant decline in the indicators of free radicals and inflammatory processes in the body.

With the establishment of large numbers of publications on the subject in recent years, the inclusion of Pequi oil does very well to minimize the part of the "bad" to do much intense sports, which is the deterioration caused by free radicals of the body.

Very interesting.
